On Feb 14, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 2,641 new cases of confirmed infections, 2,277 new cases of suspected infections, 849 new serious cases and 143 deaths (139 in Hubei province, 2 in Henan province, 1 in Beijing, and 1 in Chongqing). 1,373 patients were released from hospitals after being cured. 30,081 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on Feb 14, the National Health Commission had received 66,492 reports of confirmed cases and 1,523 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 8,096 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 56,873 confirmed cases (including 11,053 in serious condition) and 8,969 suspected cases. So far, 513,183 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 169,039 are now under medical observation.
On Feb 14, Hubei reported 2,420 new cases of confirmed infections (including 1,923 in Wuhan), 1,216 new cases of suspected infections (including 507 in Wuhan), and 139 deaths (including 107 in Wuhan). 912 patients were released from hospitals after being cured, including 486 in Wuhan.
As of 24:00 on Feb 14, Hubei had reported 54,406 cases of confirmed infections (including 37,914 in Wuhan) and 1,457 deaths (including 1,123 in Wuhan). In all, 4,774 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 2,502 in Wuhan. There still remained 48,175 confirmed cases (including 34,289 in Wuhan), with 10,152 in serious condition (including 8,335 in Wuhan), and 5,534 suspected cases (including 2,265 in Wuhan).
As of 24:00 on Feb 14, 84 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 56 in Hong Kong (1 had been dead and 1 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 10 in Macao (3 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 18 in Taiwan (1 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
