On Feb 13, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 5,090 new cases of confirmed infections, 2,450 new cases of suspected infections, 2,174 new serious cases and 121 deaths (116 in Hubei province, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Anhui province, 1 in Henan province, and 1 in Chongqing). 1,081 patients were released from hospitals after being cured. 26,905 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on Feb 13, the National Health Commission had received 63,851 reports of confirmed cases (reduced by 1,043 by Hubei after verification) and 1,380 deaths (reduced by 108 by Hubei province from the original figure due to double counting) in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 6,723 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital (reduced by 269 by Hubei after verification). There still remained 55,748 confirmed cases (including 10,204 in serious condition) and 10,109 suspected cases. So far, 493,067 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 177,984 are now under medical observation.
On Feb 13, Hubei reported 4,823 new cases of confirmed infections (including 3,910 in Wuhan), 1,154 new cases of suspected infections (including 473 in Wuhan), and 116 deaths (including 88 in Wuhan). 690patients were released from hospitals after being cured, including 370 in Wuhan.
As of 24:00 on Feb 13, Hubei had reported 51,986 cases of confirmed infections (including 35,991 in Wuhan) and 1,318 deaths (including 1,016 in Wuhan). In all, 3,862 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 2,016 in Wuhan.There still remained 46,806 confirmed cases (including 32,959 in Wuhan), with 9,278 in serious condition (including 7,492 in Wuhan), and 6,169 suspected cases (including 2,585 in Wuhan).
As of 24:00 on Feb 13, 81 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 53 in Hong Kong (1 had been dead and 1 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 10 in Macao (3 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 18 in Taiwan (1 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
