In addition, Sanya has designated 12 inns and hotels as medical observation points, according to data issued by the city's novel coronavirus epidemic preventionand control work headquarters on Jan 30.

Of the 12 observation points, two are located in Jiyang district, five in Tianya districtandone in Yazhou district, while Haitang district and Yucai districteach has two. A total of 1,281 rooms with 2,378 beds are offered by these inns and hotels.
