Premier Li Keqiang went to Qinghai Red Cross Hospital to visit altitude sickness patients on Jan 21, during his inspection in Xining, capital of Northwest China’s Qinghai province.
The Premier asked the patients about their treatment and rehabilitation, and consoled them, saying that they will soon recover and regain their health.
Premier Li mentioned that the cold season is the high-incidence season for altitude sickness. Also, the region has attached great importance to the disease’s prevention and treatment.
“You must constantly accumulate clinic experiences, in order to better protect the lives and health of people in cold plateau areas,” Premier Li told the staff.
