Inland Chinese city launches English website for intl communication

An official English website has been launched by the municipal government of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, as a new platform for its exchanges with the world.

The website contains a main site and 33 sub-websites. So far, eight government departments have been included in the sub-websites, and more will be launched next year.

The website offers English information about the city's tourism, lifestyle, job opportunities and businesses.

Guiyang authorities have been promoting the city's international presence by participating in government initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative.
