Chengdu Renmin Park

Located in the city center, combining local culture with entertainment, Renmin Park is a favorite place for locals to have a relax.

The park is composed of natural landscapes such as Jinshui Creek and Bonsai Garden. A variety of plants and streams along the shore complement each other. Goldfish Island and Yongju Tea House are integrated to create a cultural site for fish appreciation and tea tasting. At present, there are more than a dozen kinds of treasured goldfish on the island. The most famous place in the park is the Heming Tea House, which is a beautifully-preserved tea house and has a history of nearly a hundred years. A bamboo chair, a low table and tea served in a covered teacup are favorites for the locals and the best tea is "scented tea".
