Shanghai crude oil futures open higher

Crude oil futures opened higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for February delivery was up 3 yuan (about 43 U.S. cents) to open at 489.5 yuan a barrel.
