WHDZ promotes intellectual property services

A delegation of China Automobile Intellectual Property Investment Operation Center officials visited the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (also known as WHDZ) on Dec 5, sharing their views on intellectual property services provided for enterprises, according to WHDZ officials.

They said both sides reached an accord on cooperation, according to which the two will join hands in three areas. These are promoting the creation of an intellectual property advantage industry directory for the WHDZ, optimizing intellectual property services currently being offered in the WHDZ and developing a WHDZ auto industry patent intelligent analysis and display platform.

The China Automobile Intellectual Property Investment Operation Center is a State-owned holding company affiliated to the National Intellectual Property Administration.

Officials said it has strong intellectual property data resources. Its professional team consists of core members of the National Intellectual Property Administration and senior experts from technical, legal, financial and other services sector institutions.

A big data app developed by the center can give patent information with information including inventor's name, business name and the project name inputted onto the app. It can give preliminary analysis of a series of evaluation indexes. To date, the app has been adopted by government bodies in many regions in China.
