As the first container trailer carrying exported cross-border e-commerce cargo sailed out of the Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone to Qinzhou Port for sea transportation to Brazil on Dec 23, the logistics channel of Nanning's exports of cross-border e-commerce goods through land-sea intermodal transportation was officially opened up.
With the support of customs, cross-border e-commerce companies, and the China ASEAN (Nanning) cross-border e-commerce supervision center, the goods exported to Brazil smoothly arrived in Nanning Comprehensive Free Trade Zone on Dec 23. They successfully passed declaration and inspection, being released in the morning and arriving at Qinzhou Port at 2 pm on the same day.
As a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zone in China and a national land port logistics hub, Nanning has gathered a large number of cross-border e-commerce goods to the zone for customs clearance through the cultivation of cross-border e-commerce services and innovations in customs clearance facilitation. Relying on the advantages of Qinzhou Port's international shipping port, the China (Guangxi) Free Trade Zone has strengthened business linkages and cooperation between the Nanning area and Qinzhou Port area, thus promoting the construction of the western Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
The Nanning Comprehensive Free Trade Zone integrates the four-in-one business model of import and export cross-border e-commerce, bonded stocking, international express, as well as international mail, utilizing air transportation, land transportation, and land-sea intermodal transport for cross-border e-commerce. The zone has improved customs facilitation, met the needs of customers in various customs clearance modes and logistics channels, as well as promoted the cultivation and development of Nanning's cross-border e-commerce ecosystem.
