Big data industry

Zhongguancun National Demonstration Zone is leading the country in terms of its data sector. It has the most intensive data resources, with more than 1,600 big data enterprises, an average annual growth rate of more than 20 percent, and more than 5,800 effectively authorized patents.

In recent years, Zhongguancun has been aiming at the global innovation frontier, taking it as one of its primary tasks to achieve breakthroughs in big data and block chain core technologies, and accelerate the industrialization of these fields.

In 2019, Zhongguancun has 22 big data enterprises among the top 50 in China, accounting for 44 percent of the total, ranking first in the country. Zhongguancun National Demonstration Zone has become a pioneer in leading the innovative development of China's digital economy.
