Hohhot Baita International Airport, located in Hohhot, capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, officially launched its passenger service platform with a launch ceremony held on Dec 6, according to the Hohhot Evening News.
Airport officials said the passenger service platform will have a major impact on the improvement of airport operations service levels. It will also boost passengers’ travel experiences, as well as the overall development of an intelligent operation service system for airports in the autonomous region.
Relying on internal information systems, the passenger services platform covers routine functions such as flight information inquiries and ticket purchase check-in.
There are follow-up displays of flight support processes, security waiting numbers and key nodes to reduce the risk of delay and save travel times.
