Inner Mongolia bicycle kick starts on Nov 16

The Inner Mongolia "Prairie Journey" Bicycle League (Hohhot division) is set to kick start on Nov 16 in Hohhot, capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to local media reports.

The bicycle race -- co-hosted by the Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia and the people’s government of Hohhot -- will feature a men's elite group A, men's elite group B, women's elite group and a national fitness group.

The starting point will be set up at Yematu Road. The cycling route will pass locations including East Huhetala Street and West Huhetala Street and end at Yematu Road.

Rankings and awards will not be set up for the national fitness group.

Those who sign up for the national fitness group and complete the whole cycling route will receive a 2019 Inner Mongolia "Prairie Tour" Bicycle League (Hohhot division) commemorative medal and cycling apparel.

The top three competitors of the other three groups will get a trophy and bonus. Competitors ranking in positions four to 20 will get a bonus.

Registration for the event closed at 18:00hrs on Nov 14.
