World's top illustration artworks beckon for children

The Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) exhibition is underway at Jinan's Book City, offering locals a chance to get in touch with the world's best children's book illustrators.

On display are more than 300 illustrations from home and abroad, reflecting the unique cultures and artistic styles of the different countries.

Works by famous Chinese illustrator Zhu Chengliang, who recently won the Golden Apple award at the BIB 2019, are also being exhibited at the event.

Founded in 1967, the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava is a global cultural campaign with a strong reputation in the field of children's book illustrations and has been inscribed on the UNESCO list of key cultural activities.

The exhibition is held from Nov 18 to Dec 1.
