Jinan high-speed railway station launches promotional center

A promotional center highlighting Jinan's local culture and tourism resources debuted at Jinanxi Railway Station on Nov 24. It is the first of its kind in China.

The center will make use of the public space at the high-speed railway station to set up electronic screens and offer brochures introducing Jinan.

With the opening of the Rizhao-Qufu railway, a section of the Rizhao-Lankao line, the high-speed rail in Shandong province now forms a complete loop, which is expected to significantly increase the number visitors entering Jinan from other cities in the province.

The center will help familiarize incoming travellers with what the city has to offer. With winter just around the corner, the center will focus on the city's winter tourism options.
