Four Jinan teams awarded at intelligent innovation competition

The 2019 SME innovation and entrepreneurship competition, focusing on intelligent applications, announced its winners in Jinan, East China's Shandong province on Nov 27.

A total of 25 teams out of 55 from across China won first, second and third place awards, four from Jinan.

Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, the event, which began in June, consisted of preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds.

Many high-end talents stood out with their excellent technical solutions and products, which will have a far-reaching impact on the development of the artificial intelligence industry, said Ji Peide, director of the Jinan industry and information technology bureau, at the award ceremony. He also offered his congratulations to the winners.

The national-level AI innovation and entrepreneurship competition attracted nearly 800 teams from across China. The entries focused on industrial manufacturing, transportation, education, medicine, and other industries.
