The Zhongguancun International Human Resources Service Alliance held a forum on talent internationalization on Nov 28.
Leaders of the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee attended the forum and delivered speeches. Members of the Beijing Talent Work Bureau, the Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Beijing Overseas Scholars Center, as well as leaders of well-known human resources service agencies, participated in the forum.
The Zhongguancun International Human Resources Service Alliance was established in Jan 2019 In order to implement the talent policies of the Party and the State and to better serve the growing demands of Zhongguancun enterprises for international talents.
Since the establishment of the alliance, a series of special recruitment activities, information interactions between enterprises and headhunters, and high-end forums have been held.
Deputy Inspector Zhao Qing believes that the alliance should help enterprises and headhunters in the demonstration zone introduce talents with the help of policy dividends. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on the characteristic industries of Zhongguancun, especially the important and key ones, to attract more strategic scientific and technological talents.
Liu Minhua, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Talent Work, pointed out that Beijing is actively building a world-class development environment for talents to promote the construction of the national science and technology innovation center.
Wang Jun, executive vice chairman and Secretary-General of the Zhongguancun Human Resources Service Alliance, said that since its establishment, the alliance has compiled high-end job demand lists, held supply and demand docking events, carried out exchanges and training for high-end talents, and conducted exchanges and cooperation with UK agencies. In 2020, the alliance will regularly hold headhunting roadshow activities, conduct seminars on how to introduce more international talents, and promote external interactive events.

Song Xin, global senior partner of Korn Ferry, said traditional leadership is unable to cope with the challenges of the new era, so headhunting agencies should help companies to recruit international talents with key experience and international leadership competency.
