Over 150 Mongolian costumes created by modern designers were on show at the Inner Mongolian Art Museum in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Tuesday. The exhibit consists of works made by 50 trainees from all around China. It presents their ideas about Mongolian attire with a touch of contemporary satirical philosophy.
Mongolian costume, listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008, comprises a unique part of traditional Chinese finery culture. The exhibition will last for five days.
