The Zhanjiang government signed a strategic framework agreement with Inspur Group on Nov 19 to deepen cooperation in smart city construction and big data industry development, covering fields such as urban construction, industry, medicine, and finance.
Jiang Jianjun, mayor of Zhanjiang, expressed his hope at the ceremony that while participating in the construction of smart cities and developing the urban big data industry, Inspur Group can make full use of its advantages in talents, technology, resources, and capital to deploy related industries and production bases, driving more outstanding enterprises and talents to Zhanjiang.
According to Chen Dongfeng, CEO of Inspur Group, the company is willing to increase investment to build Zhanjiang into a benchmark of smart cities in western Guangdong. It will invest in cloud computing, big data, smart city operation management centers, and healthcare to make Zhanjiang an internationally competitive smart city, contributing to the high quality economic development of the city.
