Shinan government organizes fire drill

Fire Safety Awareness Month recently started in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province, and the government organized a fire drill on Nov 8.

Around 300 government workers participated in the activity. They learned how to use fire extinguishers and other fire-fighting equipment and were trained in knotting and first aid, both of which can be useful in emergency situations.

During the drill, the government found and eliminated potential fire hazards and made plans to eliminate fires at the source and successfully evacuate people.

Fire Safety Awareness Month is meant to help strengthen officers' performance in emergency situations, improve emergency management, and enhance safety.
