An exhibition of luxurious artifacts and pieces opened at the Shenyang Palace Museum in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province on Nov 6, according to the organizers.
The exhibits -- mostly gold ware, jade ware, enamels, and lacquer ware -- were from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). They featured people’s wishes for happiness, peace, good health, longevity and family reunion, according to organizers.
The exhibition is divided into four parts, showcasing carvings, decorative crafts, household items, as well as gold and jade ware.
In addition to the exhibits, cultural and creative products themed on peace and happiness are available for visitors to peruse, according to Li Shengneng, curator of the museum.
The exhibition will run to March 31, 2020.
