Dalian student pays tribute to motherland with stone paintings

A university student in Dalian, Liaoning province painted a series of pictures on stones with propylene to express her wishes to the campus, coastal city and motherland.

Xu Jialing, a senior student at Dalian Neusoft University of Information, said her idea came from the cobblestones on the beaches she found in Dalian.

She painted different scenes, including sunny days and quiet nights, bell towers, trains and trees, depending on the shape of the stones.
