An ethnic orchestral concert was staged at the Shengjing Grand Theatre in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Oct 15, according to the organizers.
Artists from 12 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative participated in the concert, including those from Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Mongolia, and the Philippines.
It was hosted by the Liaoning federation of literary and art circles and the Shenyang Conservatory of Music.
The event aimed to enhance the friendship between people in countries involved in the BRI, to promote exchanges in music culture and education between those countries, as well as to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Artists from 12 countries performed their ethnic music at the event, allowing audience to enjoy rich and colorful music.
