Recently, the Department of Natural Resources of Sichuan province that Sichuan had officially started the registration of natural resources rights in key areas, and will conduct the registration work of natural resources rights in key areas such as national parks, natural reserves, rivers and lakes. Especially, the registration work of giant panda national parks has been started in advance.
The registration work of natural resources rights refers to the unified registration of the ownership of natural resources such as water flow, forest, mountain, grassland, wasteland, beach, sea area, uninhabited island and mineral resources of proven reserves and all natural ecological spaces. Except for sea areas and islands, Sichuan has natural resource including mountains, water, forests, farmlands and lakes.
According to the relevant national requirements, China will basically complete the unified registration of natural resources rights in key areas in five years starting from this year. On this basis, the registration of natural resources rights in non-key areas will be started in due course from 2023, finally achieving the goal of full coverage of the registration of natural resources in China.
The registration of natural resources rights in key areas in Sichuan is mainly targeted at the protected lands of natural resources such as national parks, natural reserves and natural parks, as well as natural ecological spaces with complete ecological functions and individual natural resources owned by the whole people such as rivers and lakes, wetlands and grasslands with important ecological functions and key state-owned forests.
At present, the registration work of giant panda national parks that has been started earlier is working out smoothly, and basic data collection is underway.
