Interministerial conference for quality enhancement to be improved

The State Council, in a circular to the State Administration for Market Regulation, approved the plan to adjust and improve the interministerial conference for national quality improvement.

The joint meeting is set to carry out the strategy of reinvigorating China through quality enhancement, research, coordination and implementation of important matters on related laws and regulations, building a national system for quality statistics and monitoring, and promoting related infrastructure construction and collaborative services.

Led by the State Administration for Market Regulation, the joint conference comprises 23 ministries and departments. The office will be located at the administration and handle the routine work of the conference.

The conferences will be convened according to work demands, at least once per year in principle.
