Donglan achieves fruitful results in investment promotion

Donglan county in the city of Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has achieved fruitful results in investment promotion during the first three quarters of this year.

A total of 13 projects were attracted to the county from January to September, with an overall investment of 5.91 billion yuan ($830.12 million). Among them, the orchid forest ecological industrial park project between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has an investment of $16.68 million, while the investment in the agricultural development project of edible fungi totals 108 million yuan.

Donglan has made great efforts to improve its investment environment, services, and administration efficiency.

The county has also actively participated in investment promotion activities in other provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, such as Shenzhen of Guangdong province, Beijing, Chongqing, as well as Anhui and Zhejiang provinces. It has paid visits to world-renowned enterprises, including Guangcai Group, Zhejiang Construction Group, and Beijing Tongrentang Group, to attract investment.

In addition, the paid-in investment during the first three quarters of this year amounted to 1.68 billion yuan, accounting for 86.12 percent of the county's annual quota.
