An exhibition that marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC) is being held in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, according to officials.
The event is sponsored by the city's culture, radio, television, sports and tourism bureau.
It features around 186 paintings and calligraphy works depicting and reflecting the city's development, as well as its remarkable achievements in its economy, politics, culture, society, and other areas in the past seven decades. It also reflects the spirit of self-improvement and diligence displayed by Hechi residents over that time.
The exhibition will run about two months from Sept 29 to December.
