Tianjin to present 200 themed activities, exhibitions for national day holiday

The Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism of North China’s Tianjin City recently announced that it will hold 100 high-quality cultural and tourism activities and 100 cultural exhibitions during the seven-day National Day holiday in October.

The themes of the upcoming cultural exhibitions range from late Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai (1898-1976) and the birth of the People’s Republic of China or New China to the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs, the development of China’s artistic industry, and the Maritime Silk Road.

Among the cultural and tourism activities, a musical concert will be presented to relive beautiful memories of classical songs. Local residents will also be invited to visit a cultural park with an emphasis upon lauding the glorious achievements of both Tianjin and the country as a whole.

In addition, a 3,000-square meter national flag will be placed at a local cultural plaza in a ceremony on October 1-7.
