Zhejiang FTZ boasts business environment evaluation index

China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) recently released an evaluation index system for its business environment.

According to local authorities, Zhejiang FTZ has designed a "3+3+1" index framework for the evaluation system – three featured indexes including cross-border bulk commodity trade, cross-border fund settlement and services for expatriates; three innovative indexes including bunker fuel oil filling, convenient level of supply for foreign vessels and convenient level of customs clearance; and one observational index, system innovation achievements.

The system is part of the FTZ's efforts to meet the highest international standards of investment and trade. It is expected to help solve problems affecting the FTZ's business environment, said an official who participated in the development of the system.
