The Belt and Road News Network (BRNN) media workshop, which attracted 28 journalists from 14 countries, visited Manbang Group in Guiyang, Capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 23 to learn about the development of the Guizhou big data company.
Manbang Group has become the largest truck information matching platform in the country with 9.25 million users from 339 cities. In 2018, the company saw 800 billion yuan ($112.33 billion) in transactions and covered 110,000 routes.
Over the past five years, Manbang has developed an intelligent logistics ecosystem that integrates users, transactions, self-operation, the automotive aftermarket, finance, logistics real estate, energy, intelligent driving, and international businesses.
Diana Forson, senior editor of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, said that Ghana should try to emulate Manbang's success in applying big data.
