A new air route will be added to Changsha’s “4-hour aviation economic circle”.
The Southern Airlines announced recently that, the first direct air route linking Hunan with Macao will be launched on Oct 27.
This new route is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. It will be operated with Airbus 320 every day. The flight will start off from Changsha at 20:20, and arrive in Macao at 21:55. The return trip is from 23:00 to 00:35.
Hunan has accelerated building the “4-hour aviation economic circle” this year. As of now, there are direct flights linking Changsha with 14 countries and regions, including Hong Kong and Taiwan of China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, and Brunei.
The air routes from Changsha to Kathmandu of Nepal, and Pyongyang of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will be launched late this year.
