Zhangjiang to hold firework show for National Day celebration

A dazzling 30-minute firework show will light up Zhanjiang Bay on Oct 1 in celebration of National Day.

The show will be divided into five sections and music will be played alongside the firework display.

Starting 8:30 pm, the show can be enjoyed in seven viewing areas on the 10-kilometer coast of Zhanjiang Bay on both east and west sides. Five of the viewing areas set up alongside the Jinsha Bay Sea-view Corridor are barrier-free and require an online reservation.

To reserve a spot in one of these areas, follow the official Wechat account of the Zhanjiang police bureau (WeChat account: zjgawx110) and fill in your personal information on the application form. ID cards and reservation information must be presented before entering.

No parking spaces are provided near the viewing areas in order to prevent traffic jams. Thus, you are recommended to take public transit. More bus lines will be operating during the show and the operation hours of several bus lines will be extended.
