New routes connecting Zhuhai with Qingdao in Shandong Province, Linfen in Shanxi, Shiyan in Hubei, and Urumqi in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will begin on Oct 27, says China Southern Airlines Zhuhai.
China Southern will also resume three runs a week on the Zhuhai-Wenzhou-Changchun route and daily Zhuhai-Ningbo flights as the Civil Aviation Administration of China begins to implement its Winter & Spring Flight Schedule.
In addition, the carrier is scheduled to increase its number of Zhuhai-Beijing flights to five a day, with a new flight on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Meanwhile, the number of trips from Zhuhai to Kunming in Yunnan, Nanjing in Jiangsu, and Zhengzhou in Henan will also be increased to meet the new schedule.
Apart from improving and adjusting its flight network, China Southern has also tapped into Macao's civil aviation market. Three lines will link the special administrative region with the Chinese cities of Wuhan, Changsha, and Chongqing.
By October, the company will have 33 routes connecting 35 cities across China.
