Zhanjiang Airport launches temporary e-cert for boarding

In order to improve service quality and make people's travels more convenient, Zhanjiang Airport launched a temporary electronic boarding certificate for tourists who do not carry ID cards.

The temporary passenger identification of civil aviation is a temporary flight identification certificate for passengers who lost or forgot their identity cards, which is issued by the airport public security organ after identity verification. The temporary e-cert replaces paper certification with information technology to make passengers' travels safer, more convenient, and more efficient.

From now on, passengers in Zhanjiang that forgot to bring their identity cards can get the temporary e-cert through the WeChat mini applet on their mobile phones. A QR code will be created after applicants fill in their personal information, verify their mobile phone number, and pass the facial recognition. Passengers can use the QR code to check in at the No 7 check-in counter and the No 4 security checkpoint at Zhanjiang Airport.

People should be aware that the temporary e-cert now is only available to passengers holding ID cards of China.
