Lyushun Museum
Founded in 1915 in Lyushun district in Dalian, Liaoning province, Lyushun Museum now comprises two venues, the “main museum” and the “branch museum”. A foremost-protected cultural heritage site in China, the main museum was designed in a modern European architectural style with oriental artistic elements. Permanent exhibitions feature bronze ware, ceramics, Buddhist statues and coins. The branch museum was built in 2000 and displays locally unearthed artifacts. Currently, Lyushun Museum holds a collection of over 60,000 cultural relics and hundreds of thousands of items.
