Hubei Museum of Art
湖北美术馆(hú běi měi shù guǎn)
Hubei Museum of Art, opened to public in November 2007, adopted a free-admissions policy in October 2008. It was listed as one of the most prominent national art museums by Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2011.
Located near Wuhan East Lake scenic area, Hubei Museum of Art enjoys a splendid environment and convenient transportation. The museum covers a total area of 15,318 square meters and owns a building area of about 25,000 sq m. It has five floors, including one underground.
The museum has opened 12 exhibits halls, including one for special exhibition and one for image exhibition, making it able to meet diverse exhibition needs.
The exhibition halls are all equipped with advanced facilities such as central air conditioning systems, constant temperature and humidity systems, and fire alarm systems.
Other facilities such as a multi-functional academic lecture hall, an academic communication center, a cafe and a public reading area have also been set up in the museum.

Wuhan Art Museum
武汉美术馆(wǔ hàn měi shù guǎn)
Wuhan Art Museum, set up in 1986, was relocated to the hustle and bustle area of Hankou in 2008. Being listed among one of the most prominent national art museums, the museum integrates various functions, namely exhibitions, collections, academic research, art teaching, communications and social services.
The museum covers a total building area of 12,139 sq m and has opened seven exhibition galleries. The overall exhibition area has reached approximately 4,230 sq m. It is equipped with advanced automatic management facilities such as central air-conditioning, a constant temperature and humidity system, and a fire automation system.
It has a collection of more than 1,000 pieces of artwork, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings, watercolors, sculptures and photography, by nearly 200 artists in China.

United Art Museum
合美术馆(hé měi shù guǎn)
United Art Museum, set up by Optics Valley Union, is a non-profit private art gallery with an independent legal qualification.
The museum covers an overall building area of around 10,000 sq m. It has four floors -- including one underground -- and has opened 10 separate exhibition areas.
United Art Museum integrates various functions such as collections, academic research, exhibitions, education, communications and services. Supporting facilities, such as bookstores and a cafe, are also available in the museum.
