Fuling Center Hospital of Chongqing City

Fuling Center Hospital of Chongqing City, set up in 1914, gained its current name in 1999. It was approved to become a national 3A-grade comprehensive hospital in 2002.

The hospital has three campuses, covering 18 hectares and a building area of 150,000 square meters. Currently it has 1,500 patient beds.

It has set up 43 clinical departments with those in cardiovascular medicine, hepatological surgery and gastroenterology are municipal distinctive specialties and nine departments, including anesthesiology, critical care medicine, urinary surgery, nephrology, pathology and rehabilitation medicine, are municipal key clinical specialties.

The hospital has 1,920 staff members, with 197 of holding senior titles, 14 of them having doctoral degrees, 189 having master’s degrees and 12 being master’s supervisors.

The annual patient number of the outpatient and emergency departments reached 1.43 million in 2018 with 61,000 patients discharged. The hospital conducted 42,500 surgical operations in 2018.

The hospital owns a range of advanced medical facilities such as Taeme intelligent ventilator, GE 64-set 128-row volumetric spiral CT, dual-energy bone densitometer, autologous-blood recovery machine and electronic gastroscope.
