Public cultural performances staged in Chikan, Zhanjiang

Public cultural shows were performed for thousands of audience members in villages and communities of Chikan district, Zhanjiang on the evening of Aug 21.

The performances were jointly organized by the Zhanjiang Literature and Art Association, the publicity department of Chikan district, the cultural and tourism bureau of Chikan district, and the recitation association of the district.

The enthusiastic audience gave warm applause and cheers from time to time to the wonderful programs that were staged one after another. The interaction between the performers and the audience brought a joyous atmosphere of the event to a climax.

In the future, cultural performances will be held in many other places in Chikan district to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the public.
