Hospital of Stomatology Wuhan University

The Hospital of Stomatology Wuhan University, set up in 1960, was the first stomatology hospital independently established by the Chinese since the founding of New China in 1949 and was opened to the public in 1962.

After years of development, the hospital has become a 3A-grade stomatology hospital featuring medical treatment, scientific research and teaching. It has 450 comprehensive oral therapy chairs and 115 patient beds, offering medical service for patients in Wuhan and nearby areas.

It has 23 clinical departments and medical laboratories, with seven departments listed as national key clinical specialties, including endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, periodontics and dental implantology.

The hospital's professional staff members include 17 national prestigious stomatology experts, with more than 300 holding middle titles or above.

It has carried out extensive cooperation with international stomatology institutions from universities such as Queensland University of Technology, University of Alabama, the Radboud University, University of Copenhagen and Niigata University.
