Qiqihar Medical University

Qiqihar Medical University is located in Qiqihar city, Heilongjiang province and was founded in 1946.

Its campus covers 1.1 million square meters, with a construction area of 270,000 sq m. Currently, there are 18,084 students at the university. It has 19 undergraduate majors, covering medicine, science, engineering, management and law. One major is a national characteristic major, and four are provincial key majors. The university has four affiliated hospitals, five unaffiliated hospitals and 33 teaching hospitals.

The university has 4,623 staff members, among whom are 639 full-time teachers, 402 with master’s degrees or above, accounting for 62.9 percent of the total. One teacher enjoys a special allowance from the State Council and five enjoys provincial special allowances.
