Wen Chengping, chief physician of the No 2 Hospital Affiliated with Zhejiang Chinese Medical University believes that one of the advantages of TCM lies in its sound effects and safety.
"Nearly every month over the past one year, we have overseas patients making an appointment for TCM treatment," Wen said.
"Some even come in groups to see a TCM doctor while on a vacation." Wen added that he has been attending world TCM conventions in the New Zealand and Italy in recent years and senses an increasing passion for TCM among overseas medical experts.
Xuan Lihua, director of the acupuncture department of Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM, has similar feelings. She said that every month several Israeli patients receive remote treatment from her via video.
