International freight traveling from Chengdu in Southwest China’s Sichuan province to Los Angeles has been being transferred at the Shenyang Taoxian International Airport in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, since July 17. This marked the opening of the Chengdu-Shenyang-Los Angeles freight flight.
Cargo transported via this route will adopt an appointment clearance and peak delay work system, ensuring efficient services, according to the Chengdu Customs and Shenyang Taoxian International Airport.
The route, operated by Southern Airlines, is scheduled to ship 6 tons of cargo per week and 300 tons per year.
This is the first regular freight flight to link Chengdu, Shenyang, and Los Angeles, according to the Shenyang Taoxian International Airport. It is expected to tighten the economic relationships among the cities.
