Anhui Provincial Children's Hospital

Anhui Provincial Children's Hospital was set up in 1982, and started operations in 1990. It is a 3A-grade hospital mainly offering medical treatment, teaching and training, scientific research, disease prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation.

Occupying 50,000 square meters, the hospital has 1,391 inpatient beds, 33 clinical departments, and six medico-technical departments. There are 1,903 staff members, among whom 571 have intermediate professional titles or above.

In 2018, the outpatient amount of the hospital exceeded 1 million person-times, while the annual number of patients discharged reached nearly 70,000.

The hospital has a complete range of disciplines, including departments of neonatology, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, nephrology, hematopathology and neurology. Its pediatric orthopedic department was listed as a provincial key clinical specialty during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20).

In recent years, the hospital has devoted itself to promoting scientific development, conducting a wide range of medical projects and clinical scientific research. It has led the province in the treatment of child cerebral palsy, epilepsy, asthma, nephropathy and childhood leukemia.

The hospital has established cooperation relationships with nationally renowned hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai, and set up a training center to offer medical training services for doctors of basic-level hospitals.
