Lianjiang invests 5.5b yuan in key projects in H1

In the first half of the year, a total of 5.53 billion yuan ($797.25 million) worth of investment was completed on key projects in Lianjiang, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, including 1.60 billion yuan on provincial key projects, completing 40.61 percent of the annual plan.

Lianjiang has arranged 142 key projects with a total of more than 10 million yuan in 2019. To date, six projects have been completed, 102 projects have been established, and 88 projects have started construction. The construction rate of newly started projects is nearly 50 percent.

In order to promote the implementation of key projects, Lianjiang requires each town (street) to complete at least one or two town-level key projects each year. The city pays close attention to the construction of key projects from two aspects. In terms of the real economy, it concerns the technological transformation of private enterprises, financing, branding, and e-commerce sales, as well as the construction of public service platforms for the small household appliances industry. In terms of rural revitalization, the city puts efforts on village planning, infrastructure construction, new rural construction, and poverty alleviation, as well as living environment improvement.
