To further stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in Zhejiang, the public security bureau also introduced several regulations targeting foreigners, including international students and expat workers who are eager to start and operate businesses in China. The document states that foreign members of innovation and entrepreneurship teams that meet certain requirements will be given priority in applying for permanent or long-time residence permits.
Moreover, service stations will be established in areas with large foreign populations allowing them to inquire about immigration affairs.
Details on the implementation of new regulations have been jointly formulated by the provincial bureaus for public security, talent, education, science and technology, and development and reform.
