Wuyuan Rape Flowers Cultural Tourism Festival
The opening ceremony for the first Wuyuan Rape Flowers Cultural Tourism Festival was held in the county March 15, 2019. The festival features a series of interesting rape flower-themed activities, including forums, music fairs and riding competitions.
Rape flowers have always been a name card for Wuyuan, where the planting area of rape flowers has reached 8,000 hectares.
During 2018 spring, the county attracted 5,375,000 visitors to view rape flowers with the daily maximum of 278,000. The number of tourists for the whole year has toped all counties in the province for 12 consecutive years.
