Folk culture adds flair to Yunnan fashion event

Yunnan province in Southwest China has become known for its exquisite landscapes and rich folk culture. Home to the most ethnic groups in the country, the province holds an annual fashion festival to celebrate diverse folk costumes.

This year, the event took place Monday in Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture. Over 160 models from 16 cities across the province gathered to present the unique designs of different ethnic groups.
