Chunxi Road, one of the major shopping streets in the center of Chengdu, the capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, is located in Jinjiang district.
Covering about 20 hectares, Chunxi Road has over 700 shops, including exclusive shops, shopping malls, hotels, cinemas, bookstores and various kinds of restaurants.
Chunxi Road enjoys convenient transport links as it can be reached by Chengdu Metro Line 2 and many bus lines.
In September 1992, Chunxi Road opened its night fair for the first time, attracting a lot of visitors. After renovation, Chunxi Road reopened in February 2002, resembling a public art work featuring modern business and local culture elements.
