The 16th China Changchun International Automobile Expo concluded at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province, on July 21.
The 10-day event started on July 12 and exhibited more than 1,300 cars from 152 brands from all over the world.
It showcased the newest automobiles and most cutting-edge technology in the auto sector, including new energy vehicles, self-driving technology, and AR and VR technology.
During this year’s expo, many vehicle sellers offered preferential prices to buyers, attracting a large number of interested visitors.
According to staff of Roewe, a Shanghai-based car brand at the event, over 300 vehicles were sold during the expo, a huge increase over last year.
The expo first started in 1999 and has been held a total of 16 times. It has provided a boost to Changchun’s auto sector, and has also had a positive effect in other areas such as logistics, advertising, catering, and the taxi industry.
