The second Northeast Asia Art Expo, a platform to boost cultural exchanges and cooperation between Harbin and countries in the Northeast Asia region, commenced in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, on July 17.
The expo runs from July 17 to 21.
Some 311 enterprises from 28 provinces and autonomous regions, as well as 35 overseas enterprises from nine countries and regions, participate in the expo, including enterprises from South Korea, Japan, Russia, Pakistan and Indonesia.
The slogan of the expo is “opening-up, sharing, cooperation and mutual benefits” and features eight exhibition areas on digital culture, animation games, multimedia e-sports and fine art works.
The main host site of the expo is located in Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center, comprising of two exhibition halls and covers an area of 30,000 square meters. Another 14 sub host sites have also been set up in the city.
This year’s expo highlights the setting up of exhibition areas involving an e-sports competition and animation, in a bid to draw more young people to the expo.
