A world record is achieved as a total of 2,019 people play the matouqin – a traditional horse-headed musical instrument – together. They were performing during the opening ceremony for a matouqin music festival at Qian Gorlos Mongol autonomous county in Songyuan, in Northeast China’s Jilin province, on July 13.
